- 2-1-1 is for connecting folks with resources following a disaster. This includes things like: needing food, finding shelters including cooling areas, accessing childcare, and other non-emergency resources.
- 3-1-1 (713-837-0311) is for helping folks with non-emergency service issues. This includes downed trees, malfunctioning traffic lights, and roadway access issues. Click here to Report Streetlight Outages.
- 713-207-2222 is the contact number for CenterPoint Energy, the electricity provider for most of Harris County. This number should be used for downed power lines, streetlight outages.
- 9-1-1 is for life-threatening emergencies only.
- Texans who sustained damage caused by tropical weather are encouraged to report damage through the Individual State of Texas Assessment Tool (iSTAT)
- Document damage to all personal property with photos before doing cleanup work. Residents can report their damages via the Home Damage & Community Needs Assessment Survey. This survey will allow residents to connect with additional local resources and recovery organizations as aid becomes available.
- 713-274-3880 is the Debris Hotline. Storm debris should be placed near the curb, separate from normal household trash.
