Safe Sitter

Spring Fire Department is excited to introduce the Safe Sitter Program to the community. Safe Sitter is targeting students in middle school to learn and practice how to properly and safely babysit children. In this course they will receive a student handbook which includes information regarding care for kids in different age groups, what to do in an emergency, and how to perform CPR. It is a 6 hour long course and we ask that our parents prepare lunch for their child, as lunch will not be provided. There will be a graduation ceremony, parents please arrive 20 minutes prior to the end of class.
Please note: Students WILL NOT receive CPR certification. If they are interested in receiving CPR certification, please visit our calendar for available dates.
