Administration

We have 25 volunteer, part-time and full-time personnel to handle the many facets of administration and support to provide the fire suppression, EMS first responder and rescue services to our vibrant community.

Administrative Support

We have 3 full-time personnel dedicated to administrative support which includes the roles of receptionist, bookkeeper, and ESD liaison.

Human Resources

We have a Human Resources Director and a Payroll and Benefits Administrator who handle all HR, Insurance, Payroll, and Benefits related items.

Technology

Our Technology division has a full-time technology director and other staff to handle all technology which includes computers, servers, apparatus computers, access control, security, surveillance, audio/visual, and cloud services as well as all other technology related items.

Support Services

Support Services includes logistics, procurement of apparatus equipment, station equipment, personnel protective gear, uniforms and equipment, communications equipment, and SCBA (breathing air).  There are 4 full-time personnel who currently maintain these different areas supervised by a logistics director.

Apparatus

Our apparatus division has a full-time full-time fleet director who is also an Emergency Service Technician and ASE certified mechanic.  He is assisted by a full-time assistant to handle an ever-growing fleet of almost 50 different apparatus including staff vehicles, support vehicles, fire engines, rescue trucks, water tenders, and aerial trucks as well as specialized vehicles like high-water vehicles and UTV vehicles.

Facilities

Our facilities division is tasked with maintaining our 13 buildings and properties as well as overseeing new construction projects.  We have a full-time facilities director and full-time assistant which are able to handle most tasks and also coordinate with vendors to handle items outside of their capabilities.

Fire Prevention and Education

Working along with our communications division is our fire prevention and education division which addresses all areas of Community Risk Reduction.  They handle all education activities including Fire Safety, First Aid, CPR, and AED courses, our smoke detector initiative, and car seat inspections, with plans to add new programs in 2023 including babysitting and childcare courses.

Communications

To ensure the public is informed about items of interest, we have a full-time communications director and full-time assistant that focuses on creating brand awareness, maintaining a positive public image, and disseminating public safety messages to the public through all forms of media including social media, print media, and television.  They are also involved in coordinating all department events to ensure the best experience for everyone.
