News Media Requests

 

In alignment with our goal of total community safety, the Spring Fire Department proactively and professionally responds to news media and public information requests in a timely, responsible manner, in full compliance with the Texas Public Information Act (TPIA).

Spring Fire’s Public Information Office answers all media requests in the best interests of the community we serve, our department, and our members under the direction of the Harris County Emergency Services District No. 7 Board of Commissioners and our command staff.

Routine Information

Routine interview and information inquiries can be handled by telephone at (281)-951-7065 or you can fill out the form on this page. Leave a message and someone will get back to you during regular business hours.

Time-Sensitive News

Time-sensitive news media requests can be texted to (281) 825-7240. Please include your name, your media outlet, your deadline, and what you are specifically inquiring about. After business hours, the PIO will focus on active incidents. Routine matters and follow-ups will typically be handled during business hours.
