Steve Kiebzak

Human Resource Director, SHRM-SCP

Steve Kiebzak brings a distinguished career in human resources to his role as Human Resources Director for the Spring Fire Department. Since joining the department in 2014, he has worked closely with both career and volunteer personnel to support recruitment, training, benefits administration, employee relations, and organizational development.

Steve holds degrees in human resources and psychology and has earned advanced professional credentials from Cornell University, including certificates in Employment Law, Human Resources, and Advanced Employee Relations and Internal Investigations. He is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), a certified leadership and development instructor through Achieve Global, and CompTIA-certified in project management.

Steve’s broad expertise in training, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and talent acquisition and management has been instrumental to the continued growth and success of the Spring Fire Department. Originally from upstate New York, he now resides in Texas and is a dedicated Houston Astros fan.
